Harvey Nichols Second Floor appointed as a preferred caterer for events
Manchester Cathedral, which doubles as a stunning conference and event space has partnered with The Harvey Nichols Second Floor as a preferred caterer for events at this venue. The flexible space means that events and gala dinner for up to 700 guests can be catered for.
A church has stood on the site of the Cathedral since 632, the current structure dates from 1421 and is a historic landmark in the city of Manchester. Boasting beautiful architecture, this medieval building is the perfect place to hold a private dinner, located in the heart of the city centre it is just a stone's throw from the Harvey Nichols Store
Harvey Nichols store manager Iain Mackenzie says of the new relationship, "Whilst we have supported the Cathedral in a number of ways over the past couple of years, including hosting two of our fashion shows there, this new relationship means that we can put a Harvey Nichols stamp on many more events at the Cathedral. It will hopefully create more business for the Cathedral too and help to drive more funds to keep this stunning piece of architecture in great condition. We're very excited about this collaboration."
The Dean of Manchester The Very Reverend Rogers Govender said of the relationship, "We are delighted that Harvey Nichols has joined us in partnership to widen the offer that Manchester can make to the outside world. I am particularly pleased that income derived from these events will go towards supporting the Cathedral mission in education with our chorister programme and also helping the vulnerable and disadvantaged in our city".
