The Mechanics Institute is a Grade II* listed building located in the centre of Manchester.
It is best known as the birthplace of the TUC, which was founded in the building in 1868, but it was also the birthplace of UMIST and the Co-operative Insurance Society.
The Centre has meeting rooms available to hire for conferences, meetings, training events and functions and is ideally located for parking and noall public transport.
